B3´s Last Visit

I quickly said goodbye to Erik, Linnea and Jared and rushed back to site to await the arrival of the director of Builders Beyond Borders (the NGO that built bathrooms in one of my communities), two board members, the director for the WatSan program, our regional coordinator and Karen (a fellow PCV and good friend). B3 came back to make sure the bathrooms were in use and to finalize the project. I was a little nervous for the visit, but in the end everything worked out very well. The beneficiaries put on a nice thank you ceremony with traditional dancing, and B3 presented a beautiful plaque as well. B3 is officially over, which makes me a little sad. It definitely had a HUGE influence on my service as a PCV.
